Scandic Hotel was in a great location for us, as it's so close to the train station. The room was beautiful and well maintained. This hotel has a great option to store luggage if needed. We would definitely stay there again if we're back in Stockholm!

I have stayed at this hotel twice now and each time the stay has been excellent. The rooms are huge and really lovely! And the breakfast buffet is amazing! A great location in the city close to Arlanda Express and to Central Station and the heart of Stockholm. I will be staying here every time I visit!

This hotel is very close to the Central Station and the shopping district. We were on the 2nd floor and the sound of traffic (motorcycles) woke us up during the nights we were there.

When we arrived we were given th option of a larger room overlooking the hotel entrance with a sofa & chair area which we took for only an extra £50 over 3 nights. The room was excellent and the bath/shower had constant hot water which was appreciated particularly when coming in from the cold late afternoon before going back out later. Buffet breakfast was one of the most comprehensive I have experienced when travelling, very good. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

Central location. Convenient access to transportation, restaurants, shopping. Breakfast (charged separately) was good. Booked for 4 nights. AC was not working. Staff wasn’t helpful at all. Handed a small table fan!! Wouldn’t suggest this property. Area has many other properties which would probably be better. Expedia has become terrible at suggesting properties.

8/10 Very good

I stayed at this hotel three years ago and had such a great experience that I recommended it to others. That was also the reason we decided to come back. Unfortunately, this stay was quite different. The location is still excellent, and the room was beautiful and comfortable, but overall the experience felt more ordinary this time. The breakfast was the biggest disappointment. Three years ago, the freshly squeezed orange juice and waffle maker made it feel special and different from a typical hotel breakfast. This time, the selection was fine, but it felt like just another standard hotel breakfast. The sauna was also a disappointment. There were hardly any stones left on the sauna stove, which didn’t feel safe, and there wasn’t even a bucket for throwing water on the stove. The sauna clearly needs some attention. There were also a few smaller maintenance issues in the room, such as the broken security lock, missing “Do Not Disturb” sign, empty soap dispenser, a blocked bathroom sink drain and towels not being replaced. It’s a shame, as I had such a good experience here before and was happy to return. I hope the hotel can bring back some of the little details that made the previous stay so memorable.

8/10 Very good

To reduce my costs, I stayed in one of the windowless cabins and was afraid that maybe I´d panic in the middle of the night (has happened before in windowless environments). However, I find they were very clever with the different sources of light in the cabin, therefore this was no problem. The lady at the desk was also extremely helpful and assisted me with a possibly earlier check in. Some cons: the room was clean, but had some spots here and there. That´s why I left a 4 and not a 5 on cleanliness. Besides, the check-in at 16:00 is highly inconvenient and later than in other hotels. The breakfast was just too expensive and I chose not to include it in my booking. All in all, this is a sound option if you're looking to save money, but several things could be improved.

The hotel is very centrally located, just a few minutes walk from the central station. The room was clean however our bathroom was quite small; body wash and lotion, shampoo and conditioner and hand soap are provided. Would stay again

Very close to the central station and the bus terminal, 10-min walk to the old town and there a lot of restaurants and shops in the area. The room is spacious and clean, the staff was helpful. The breakfast was excellent.
