The chateau, was a wonderful place to stay and the spa and massage was fantastic. My only criticism was that the piped music was annoying and piece and quite would be fine. The other we stayed 2 nights and the menu was the same both nights and with only 5 choice on the main course you would expect an alternate menu. Buy said that would visit again.

Epic castle, really cool to stay in. The gratto pool is a must in their spa. 60 euros per person per day, but they do let you split and do half and half, so you get a couple of hours on both days instead all of once. The book store restaurant is also really cool. And the main restaurant is really nice too, a little pricey and the service is a bit slow so just plan to take your time. All in all great experience.

Second time staying and we were very disappointed. Outside looks tired and unkept, no towels offered by the pool., To have to pay to use the spa general area as a hotel guest is just wrong and we’ve never experienced this at any other hotel around the world!! We didn’t bother after looking around, it’s tiny and was so busy. Restaurant, although the food is very nice we felt the service was very poor. We felt ignored and were not asked if we would like additional drinks, bread etc and it took 20 minutes to get someone to come and give us the bills The library closes at 6pm - why?!? The bar wasn’t open at 6pm ?? Sadly we won’t be back. Shame as such a lovely location but over the last few years it has changed doesn’t command the price to stay. Oh and no one on reception 247, as we left at 5am didn’t see anyone to check out?!

This place was a dream come true. It is the kind of place everyone needs to experience at least once in their lives. The chateau was so comfortable and charming and swimming in the spa pool was such a unique experience. I loved learning the history of the property and seeing the wells that have been there forever. The breakfast had so many delicious choices that I wish I could have stayed another day. Finally the cellar bar was so delightful, I had an amazing time sipping cocktails and enjoying a game of chess with my travel partner. Everyone was so kind to us and we really enjoyed our visit. I recommend this place 100%.

We stayed at Chateau Urspelt because we were there for F1 racing in Spa. This property is beautiful. I loved opening the windows and letting the cool breeze in at night. The view was so peaceful. My husband and I used the pool and we were the only ones. We paid the extra fee for the wellness center and I LOVED that. The grotto spa caves were my absolute favorite and the thing I was most excited to go in. We loved NUXE products in the rooms. Now we use NUXE products back home! The breakfast was delicious and by far the best jam on our very long trip thru Europe! I loved this hotel so much not only was it beautiful, peaceful and the staff were so nice! I highly recommend this hotel and paying extra for the wellness spa. You won’t regret it. Book early for spa services!
