Outstanding, the food was exceptional and the service was fantastic. The accommodation was excellent, with some lovely little touches, homemade flapjack on the tea/coffee tray in the room, so nice. Fresh milk and water in the fridge, they even left a water bowl, towel, and poo bags for our dog. Can not recommend this place enough. If only everywhere took this much pride in what they do.

Staff were lovely and the place looked really nice and clean overall. Unfortunately, the bed was actually so bad, t squeaked constantly and made it really hard to properly relax. I also found a massive hair in my food, which completely put me off. I was quite shocked that I still had to pay the full amount for the meal after that, not going to lie. Such a shame because the staff were genuinely lovely, but those things really let the stay down for us.

Great stay but there was only a bath and no shower. Unfortunately the taps leaked and there was some damage to the floor and chrome. Not the hotels fault but with the sticky weather a shower would have been nice. Very pleasant staff and great hotel.

This is such a special place - the accommodation is charming, comfy and convenient, the spa facilities are SPECIAL, staff are lovely and helpful and the food was great. It's a true indie place within striking distance of many great walks, and equally a fab place just to chill and unwind. Gorgeous and so well looked after.

Excellent place to stay with dogs as you are self contained with an area to walk them away from the main road. Facilities good, we had a lovely garden cottage - only downside are the doors are built for hobbits (I’m a little over 5ft and had no issues, 6ft + hubby cracked his head once…
