The Kimpton Hotel Monaco Is one of the nicest hotels I've stayed at in Baltimore. The rooms are very clean. The staff was very professional! I went there with my girlfriend and had a beautiful time. We were able to connect to the TV with our device without any problem at all. Making the rest of the night smooth and problem-free. I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel to anybody coming to Baltimore, or just needing a room to stay in for a night or more. The breakfast meal will cost you a little extra, but the restaurant is worth the expense. I really loved my stay.

Overall, the facility was nice, well maintained, and the desk and restaurant staff were pleasant and helpful. My only issue was that the cleaning staff didn’t make our beds or replace our towels after the first night. We left the room before 11 and did not put up the do not disturb sign per their instructions for cleaning service. I called the desk to request more towels, 3 dry off and 3 face towels to be exact. I received 4 dry off towels. This didn’t ruin my experience or anything like that, and I would still recommend it. My point is that hotels are not cheap because of the amenities that come with staying in one. If I’m paying 1/3 of my mortgage to stay somewhere for 2 nights, I expect the simple things to be on par. In sum, the cleaning staff prevented a 5 star review. I really wanted to give those extra stars, but I want to be honest as a duty to other patrons.
