The Hotel San Marco is a modern hotel with every amenity for the traveler, including hotel bicycles and umbrellas! The location is just a few safe, walkable blocks to the historic walled city. A large buffet breakfast selection starts the day, and a glass of wine at the pool area is a welcome rest at the end af the day. Every staff member is cheerful, helpful and accommodating. We highly recommend this hotel.

Wonderful hotel. Beautiful accommodations. Very helpful staff. One of the owners took the time to drive us to the train station to catch the train to Pisa. We didn't have enough time to walk and we would have missed the train without her help. A few hundred yards outside the wall and therefore easy to drive to. Surprisingly easy to drive in Lucca. All in all, a great property.
