If you are visiting Wash U or exploring Forest Park this is the place. Staff is friendly. Complimentary hot breakfast is fantastic. Rooms are big and clean with Rainforest Shower heads. The rooftop is gorgeous. Parking is convenient.

There’s something great about a nicely kept theme hotel. The Moonrise is that kind of place. Interesting decor to look at and very comfortable, quiet and clean rooms. The rooftop garden and bar were lovely, too. Great location in the Delmar Loop for food and drinks.

I arrived here really late from Chicago, so i missed the rooftop at night, however in the morning I ordered a mimosa from the restaurant near the lobby & went up on the roof to enjoy the views of the city & arch as i enjoyed my drink in peace. This hotel is right along the Delmar Loop with many stores & eateries available before it gets too late. Luckily when i checked in, around the block was 1 place open past 3am & i was able to order some sort of dinner. My room was the Richard Pryor suite & it was so spacious and lovely with even some shag carpeting by the sofa, & many vintage Pryor photos on the wall I enjoyed. I enjoyed my stay here.
