What a unique opportunity to step back in time! The detailed restoration of this beautiful bed and breakfast with such an extensive collection of period pieces is something to behold. Everything was fantastic – cleanliness, comfort, friendliness, quiet, and the breakfast! My only criticism is that the bedroom was a little hot at night – it was a hot day in May, and I was told the place was "kept at 67 degrees," but it felt a lot hotter than that in the room. Would definitely stay again, just maybe not in mid-summer (and would like to go back for an afternoon high tea!).

The Schuster Mansion is a hidden gem in downtown Milwaukee. Built in 1891, it is an architectural marvel. When you consider that the building is 134 years old, the insider is essentially pristine. The rooms are furnished in the style of the period which means that the guest is able to experience what it would have been like. The breakfast choices are excellent. We really enjoyed the chance to 'dine' for breakfast. It is definitely an experience to share be served your breakfast with real silverware and china. We will return for a longer stay.

It was the most comfortable bed and breakfast place i have ever stayed in. The service was impeccable. They treated us as family. Laura Sue and Richard. Had lots of history to tell us about. Laura Sue and Rick show great pride in the Bed and Breakfast they run! Our breakfast was wonderful, with great conversation with other guests and our hosts. The outside garden area was so beautiful and inviting! The perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of wine…as long as it’s not raining. The BnB is not far from the Brewers ball park or the downtown area which was very nice!! We had a very pleasant experience and would stay again!

The good was the breakfast in the morning, owner Rick was a pure gentleman, and the various antiques in the house. The bad was Laura (opinionated, rude, and thinks pretty highly of herself), 30 minutes to check in, and location is in a sketchy neighborhood.
