Beautiful university town along River Thames. Important to remember this is a working university; the primary purpose is university work, not catering to tourists. Plan ahead if want to visit popular buildings like Bodleian or Christchurch.

Only my second visit to this fabulous city, both times for a concert, and will definitely be visiting again because the Ashmolean museum will take a lifetime to explore properly! The architecture everywhere is stunning.
