Cozy B&B
Outstanding service, friendly and efficient staff and great food for breakfast- beds were excellent -heating and water were excellent- loved the tea and water included in the room- there was not a visible manager present- there was paperwork that introduced him and gave a phone number to call for emergencies- the walk from the main section of Oxford was a little long and local restaurants were not well advertised- overall an awesome place to stay for those on a budget - would return to stay here again

A friendly low-key hotel in Oxford
Newton House is a low-key hotel on a busy street. We could not hear traffic from our room, even though we were right in the front--good soundproofing. Our room was of medium size and the bed was very comfortable. The decor included antique furniture and imaginative modern items. There is no common sitting room but the breakfast room is large and the breakfast was great with a buffet plus cooked items. Friendly staff and we enjoyed having a small grocery store right next door. A ten minute walk to the town centre.

A good deal.
The hotel was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Just a 1/2 mile walk to the city center. All of this makes this hotel a good deal.

Good B&B
The stay was short but comfortable. The city center was within walking distance. Breakfast was good (english and buffet with cereals, teas and jams). The wifi was working most of the times but had some interruptions which was a bit of a trouble since I was on a business trip. Otherwise, the room and everything was good.
