What an awesome experience...we were treated like royalty by all the staff. Such a wonderful experience... definitely the best hotel we ever stayed in.

8/10 Very good

Great accomdation, close to the airport for one night prior to a very early flight. The staff at check-in were friendly and the hotel had a really good vibe about it.

Really well maintained hotel , bathroom was spotless and looked freshly decorated. Food in the restaurant at night is not the cheapest but superb. We stayed here before flying from Edinburgh airport, was a short drive to there and a great night’s sleep in a quiet location rather than staying in an onsite airport hotel.

The hotel is very nice I every way…comfortable beds, quiet room, attractive and cozy. It’s only a 12-15 min drive to the airport without feeling like you’re at a basic airport hotel property. Only the restaurant was disappointing, food was mediocre (& we were seated by the kitchen /service door which wasn’t pleasant).

Best ever facilities I have ever experienced for disability. Excellent bathroom with wet room, a heightened toilet with lots of grab rails. Room was a great size and perfect for my wheelchair. Staff were very polite and helpful.

Not the place to stay if you’re touring Edinburgh, although we took a bus to the city centre and it was cheap & relaxing, about an hours drive away. If you’re heading to the airport, or like us hopping on motorbikes to tour the country…it’s the perfect location! Staff was super helpful, very professional and very cheerful. Would definitely recommend Dakota!

Amazing hotel. Clean, modern and super friendly staff. It’s not very close to the airport, so plan an extra 15 mins. Worth the $. Restaurant on premises was top shelf.

This hotel was close to grocery store, walkable to a couple of restaurants, and bus Transporation if you can figure out the bus Transporation. They also offer hotel airport transfers. Staff was friendly cooperative.

We only stayed 1 night. Selected Dakota because we were flying out the next day and Dakota offers a complimentary airport shuttle. Our room was very large and clean with complimentary coffee, tea and hot chocolate. Staff was very friendly and ready to help us with anything we needed. Great hotel and we would definitely stay here again.

It is a beautiful hotel and the food we ordered from room service was absolutely delicious. The only problem was the lack of a shuttle. It listed an airport shuttle and that's why I booked them. I emailed them about it and heard nothing back. We were told at check-in that the shuttle wasn't working that week.
