Apex City of Edinburgh Hotel, Edinburgh
We were in Edinburgh to visit our daughter who was studying at the University of Edinburgh. We spent a total of 6 nights at this hotel, four nights at the beginning of our trip and another two after touring around Scotland. Coming back to the hotel was like coming home and the staff was very welcoming. The location was perfect, close to our daughter's dorm and the sights we wanted to visit. The pubs of Haymarket made for a nice dinner selection each night and the hotel breakfasts were excellent.

Yearly trip to the Apex!
Perfect hotel with A/C in Old Town. I return to this chain of hotels on Grassmarket every year.

Perfect minibreak in Edinburgh!
Wonderful hotel! We reserved a suite with a Castle view. It was only on the second floor, so I'm sure the view would have been better up higher, but it was nice, nonetheless. This was the largest room I've stayed in in Europe! Lots of space to spread out and easy to still sleep well if the other person wanted to stay up and watch tv in the lounge area. Great location as well -walk out there door and you're right in the thick of things.

Wonderful hotel in the heart of the historic area. Stops for two city tour buses are immediately nearby. It was the perfect choice!
