Lovely Stay
It was a pleasant stay overall. Our Room was small, but bed was very comfortable and had a good night sleep after a tiring day. Owner David & Ian was nice & helpful. Ian was very friendly, jovial, and smiley. Breakfast was delicious too. We would come back again. The negative was that there were no elevator in B&B and we had to take our luggage at the 2nd floor, staff didn't help us with the luggage.

Really, a great place to stay
Very enjoyable visit. David was incredibly genial and helpful. He even broke change for me and gave me a bottle of water for the road without thinking twice about it upon my departure. The hotel is located in a great spot for visiting both the Shore and the city center; it only takes about 10 minutes by bus or 30 minutes walking to get to both locations. The room was fairly small, but it was well-kept and has everything you need (plus some nice little amenities). The breakfast in the morning was very good, although I wish it would run a bit later - it stops at 9:30am. I don't know when/if I'll be able to visit Edinburgh again, but this place is certainly #1 on my list of places to stay upon returning! Thanks for everything!

Highly Recommended
Lovely hotel! Owner took good care of us, staff very nice. The service is beyond what I am used to. Breakfast fantastic and parking on their own property, who can ask for anything more.

close to the bus, great service
There are bus stops in very close proximity to the townhouse and a small food market across the street. The service was fantastic and friendly. It was clean and quiet.

Weekend in Edinburgh
We were made very welcome, as it was Christmas time everything looked very festive. Breakfast was very good, the only down side was lighting was a bit too dim, had problems reading in the lounge, could do with some brighter lights.
