Excellent service from very polite staff. The best Japanese breakfast served among all onsen ryokans I stayed at so far. Omakase dinner was a delicate dining experience - delicious food plates beautifully. Hotel is located right on the street where the Gion Summer festival was held when we were there. So, we had a great time enjoying all the festivities.

The inn sits at a local street steps away from the shrine and garden. We had a marvelous Japanese style breakfast. The front desk is really helpful in welcoming us and arranging the taxi. This is our place to stay when doing a short hop in Narita airport.

We travelled as a group of 12 people. We booked 5 rooms and everyone was impressed. Staffs are very helpful. Dinner and breakfast are both tasty. The room is spacious and comfortable. The location is scenic and historic. Naritasan Shinsho-ji is just next to the hotel. Even though there is no private carpark, it's enjoyable to talk the short walk to the public carpark. This hotel is so great! It was a perfect way to end our family vacation in Japan. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. The staff is so kind and attentive (be nice to them please!). The traditional Japanese style rooms (they also have non-traditional rooms) are so cool - we loved it. And the breakfast was such an amazing experience if you want to see what a traditional (and full/big) Japanese breakfast is about - try it! And of course, you cannot miss the hot springs/onsen at the hotel. It is open early and late and we took advantage of it as much as possible. Also, the town of Narita is so cute and we really enjoyed a last chance to shop for souvenirs and cool local arts and crafts.

If I had to give it my own stars for this place it will be a 10 stars out of 5, the staffs here are at its upmost professionalism and the spa and food is paired perfectly together harmoniously! My second stay here this time with my mother in law , my 3year old son and wife for pre celebration of Father’s Day from U.S.A. Waqoo welcomes you with their passion ,art and performance at its best ! Thank you from Kwun’s family! ^^
