We had an absolutely exceptional stay at Backland Luxury near Williams, Arizona — without a doubt the best stop of our 15-day road trip through the American West. The instructions to reach the site were very clear, and the final minutes on the dirt road (guided by an app to download) felt like a small adventure in itself. Once there, you discover a true paradise where we spent two unforgettable days… with only one regret: not staying longer. The welcome was outstanding. Jeremy, the manager, showed great kindness toward our family, even taking the time to prepare fishing rods for us, which were made available free of charge. All the equipment on site is excellent: high-quality kayaks, life jackets suitable for all sizes and ages, and fun games by the water — everything is thoughtfully designed to fully enjoy the surroundings. We also loved the evenings around the fire with marshmallows and crackers — a wonderful family moment. From our room, we were able to admire the stars in a perfectly clear sky, which was truly unforgettable. We also had the chance to see a coyote by the lake and a herd of deer at sunrise, making the experience even more magical. A special mention as well to Jessica for her kindness and Chase for a warm welcome at breakfast — they made us feel very comfortable and introduced the place This stay was a moment of pure peace, calm, and serenity in the heart of nature — a truly unique place that we highly recommend.

Tents are spacious, clean, and nicely furnished with modern amenities. Food at the restaurant is delicious. The reception area is cozy with a fireplace, books, and games, and the building that houses the reception and restaurant is beautiful. The activities near the lake are fun. The location is beautiful and peaceful, in the middle of the forest. An excellent place to stargaze. Staff is very friendly. This was my family’s second stay here, and it is truly one of my favorite places.
