Overall a lovely one-night stay. Felt the hotel room was a little dated and well used so in need of modernising/updating. Great gym, pool and steam room. Food was okay. Staff helpful and attentive

Beautiful hotel, reception is so welcoming and immediately feels like you've stepped out of Cardiff. The room was incredible complete with double bed, bath, shower, sofas and everything needed for a wonderful stay. Unfortunately was a work trip so didn't get much time to try out the facilities or breakfast but I'm sure they would have been equally as amazing

Beautiful hotel with lovely big rooms, ate in the main restaurant the food was delicious with lots of variety, on the downside our room overlooked the main road opposite the pubs and the noise was deafening, stopped around 3am.final verdict is lovely rooms and hotel but overpriced drinks and too noisy if staying in a road facing room.

Hotel seemed nice enough. Clean, fine location for where I needed to be. Room was very spacious although in-room amenities a bit disappointing - TV small and oddly located for size of room (would have been difficult to watch from either the bed or the sofa), no conditioner provided just shampoo (my hallmark for the quality of a hotel!) and instant coffee is bad enough, but Nescafe? Who even drinks this?! But minor gripes really, hotel was fine, staff very friendly and helpful.

The room was really big with great amenities. The check in was really good, the lady checked us in called Zoe who was so friendly and helpful! We stayed for a concert at the castle and it was a 10 min walk max, great!

Very friendly and helpful reception on arrival. The room was clean and tidy and the location was perfect. Didn’t have time to use the spa facilities but they were complimentary so worth packing your swimming trunks and gym kit. Will certainly visit again.
