We stayed in a 2 bedroom, 2 bath tatami room. There was plenty of space to spread out. The space was darker, the few windows did not let in much light. But, overall clean & comfortable. The location was great, not too busy, but close enough to tourist attractions. My husband appreciated the complimentary beer in the lobby.

We were pleasantly surprised with the room! The front desk gals were so nice and spoke English well. We had everything we needed and more. The room was quiet and beds were comfy. We slept like babies! The in-room laundry was a big bonus ( never seen that before)! We enjoyed the complementary beverages downstairs. The location was in the middle of where we wanted to be! It was a 2 min walks to breakfast and marts. Mumari has their own luggage transfers to Ōsaka, Kyoto and Tokyo for a fee. Our bags arrived at our next hotel in Ōsaka the same day and before check-in! Wow!!!

Mimaru Suites is a fantastic apartment hotel in Kyoto. Very spacious, modern, clean, comfortable, and nicely located near metro lines that made it very convenient to explore the beautiful city of Kyoto. I'd highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for 2-bedroom, 2-bath place, and will definitely stay here again if I get the chance to return to Kyoto.

Nice place. The two bedroom suite had two bathrooms, three tvs, and four beds. This place had plenty of room! The in suite washer dryer combo (with included detergent) was extremely handy. Staff was nice and couldn’t have had a roomier stay.
