What an I’m incredible experience from arrival to departure. The staff was a class act. From Anicia (sp?) at the desk to Leah at the bar and the lovely women that made us a breakfast box when we have to depart at 5 am. Loved loved loved. We come to Charleston every summer from California and we’ll see you all again soon!

Our stay at The Loutrel was amazing. They take excellent care of their guests. Breakfast was delicious every morning, as were the cocktails, the nightly one-bite desserts, and the mezzanine level that was stocked with snacks! I would recommend The Loutrel to anyone considering a stay in Charleston. The location and service can’t be beat!

We absolutely love staying at The Loutrel whenever we visit Charleston. This was our third stay, and it truly feels like coming back to a place that’s both special and welcoming. Everything is always spotless, and the hotel has such a beautiful, cozy feel. We especially love the lobby — it’s so charming and inviting, and it sets the tone for a relaxing stay from the moment you walk in. The Loutrel has become such a memorable part of our Charleston trips, and we already look forward to coming back again.

Staff went above and beyond, advice, sunscreen, whatever we needed. Beyond that the availability of Fiji and Pelegrino waters was awesome to stay hydrated during a hot spell in Charleston

The Loutrel was one of the nicest hotels we’ve stayed at. It’s “welcome cocktail,” free breakfast and “finest hour” included delicious food and drinks! The hotel room was spotless and decorated beautifully. The staff was attentive and friendly.

We enjoyed a wonderful weekend stay at The Loutrel. Our room was very spacious and staged with everything we might have needed including complimentary snacks and beverages and quality linens. We also appreciated the very quiet AC system that made it easy to sleep comfortably. The daily Happy Hour that offered a signature cocktail and the morning breakfast with ample food selections made the stay even more enjoyable and convenient.

11/10 Could not be happier with the stay. Staff was so nice and attentive, breakfast was fantastic, amenities were truly exceptional, close to king street and everything we needed but not close to the extent where you can be bothered by noise. Our only recommendations would be a broader range of higher protein options at breakfast, late night room service options, and an addition of a house car to help with rides to local spots such as dinner. Will definitely stay again!
