Firstly, the location inside Gothenburg Central Station is exceptional, with easy access to everything you need. The rooms are quite small but comfortable for a solo traveler, with very comfortable bedding. The front desk staff are excellent.

Definitely would recommend staying there. Very central to trains,trams, shops. The staff are amazing - We ate at the restaurant most nights during our 1 week stay and our waitress Emily was exceptional. Breakfast was also delicious & lots of choices to choose from. The breakfast was great. My room faced an inner courtyard so didn’t get a lot of natural light and you needed the blinds closed for privacy. The shower was a bit of a weird set up but the bed was comfy and the sheets/pillows were nice and you can’t beat the location. I’d give it 4/5

Stayed here three nights while visiting Göteborg, was a pleasant stay and I would recommend! Arrived on a Tuesday evening around 10pm and since this hotel is directly in the train station, you have to walk outside briefly only to enter. We waited about 15 minutes to check in since there were a few people in front of us. The staff was cordial and professional, the checkin itself only took about 6-7 minutes. The regular double room was spacious and clean, the TV had a few English channels, good black out curtains, comfortable beds (pillows could’ve been a little more supportive), good shower pressure and temperature, good-sized closet space. Certain corridors in the hotel overlook the train station platforms which is kinda cool. Breakfast is around the corner from the check in lobby and was a terrific spread of hot/cold foods, and I thoroughly enjoyed this each morning. Great that they are very diligent on providing allergen information and a special dietary needs section.

We chose this hotel for its central location, which was great. It was about 40% more expensive than similar hotels we were looking at. However, there was nothing HYATT about the whole hotel experience. Room status: The rooms look nothing like the pictures on the website. Our kids said they felt scammed. Broken curtains / Bad Lighting / USB charging point out of order / Trash not emptied from toilet bin (discovered on arrival). Personal: Friendly, but neither curtain nor charging point was fixed during our 3-day stay. Breakfast: It was hard to find seating, especially when couples occupied tables and seating meant for larger groups. Food selection was okay. Scandic / Radisson / Le Meridien / Hilton selections are way better. Bar: Did not make use of the bar.

Good location at a reasonable price. But the hotel rooms are small and dark, due to almost 75% being located on very narrow, deep and long courtyards. OK for one night but nothing longer ( I stayed two nights). Ventilation system is struggling to cope - adjusting room temperature required a tech visit ( which happened very promptly ) Front areas of property and breakfast feel like a Hyatt - as it should be- but overall the best I can rate this hotel is OK for a night.
