My husband and I stayed here 3 nights during our trip to Japan. Loved it! Location is great; close to JR stations and just north of all the Akihabara shopping. Staff were all very kind. Breakfast was amazing! You get two choices of traditional or western style breakfast. They also had toast, rolls, and cereal as well. Don't worry about packing any toiletries. The hotel supplies hair brushes, disposable razors, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and large bottles of body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. Our room had an attached toilet w/ shower, AC unit, and even a mini fridge. And be sure to check out the top floor onsen. It's separated by gender and there is a security code to get into the women's side which changes everyday. Very relaxing with three different hot spring pools. Yes the room was on the small side, but we didn't find it to be constraining, and it's not like we spent all day in the hotel. If we ever make it back to Tokyo, we will definitely be staying at the Dormy Inn again!!!

Amazing Hotel, Watch for Tattoos Though
The hotel was amazing! Great staff, clean room, close to everything. Be warned that if you have tattoos, you won't be allowed into the hot spring - I booked this hotel for the hot spring, but signs were posted everywhere that people with tattoos weren't allowed in. Regardless, great stay!

Nice and clean
Very clean, pleasant and accommodating staff, great onsen, convenient location, nice breakfast. Although the room was tight (as expected from the pictures shown upon booking) the space was used wisely. I definitely would stay here again.

a chain hotel with nice personalized service
The hotel was great as the other people's reviews have already expressed so. Especially notable was the nice-sized public bath equipped with a small sauna and outdoor tubs. The facility was literally a heaven in the middle of the busy city center. Another thing I am grateful about this place is the kindness of the cleaning lady I met during my 3-night stay. She was always greeting me in the morning with sweet smile, and one day she lent me an umbrella as it was raining outside. She even told me that I don't need to return it (though I left it in the room), and her personal service was very touching.

Great Location, Great Price
Love this hotel. Nice staff. Very clean. The included breakfast was delicious, and the free evening ramen was a nice touch. Onsen was a bit too hot temperature wise, but appreciated nonetheless. Small, yes, but an incredible price for the value and location. Wifi was spotty, but that was not a serious problem. Could be an issue if you were conducting business. It's also convenient to the Metro and JR, a big plus.
