Great hotel, good location if you want to be near the shops at The Grove but far enough away from Hollywood etc. Made our honeymoon extra special even just while staying there for a couple of nights before flying to Hawaii.

Wonderful location and nice, stylish rooms. Check-in was friendly and helpful. Great housekeeping. Carafe of water in the room was appreciated. Valet staff was great, particularly the person working in the mornings. I wish we were able to recycle bottles. I was a bit disappointed that I wasn't able to extend my check-out by a half-hour. I know that this is never guaranteed or owed, but the person at the front desk was a bit dismissive about it. It is also disappointing that the hotel is "cashless" -- this hurts housekeeping and valet when it comes to tips. Otherwise, though, a great stay.

Stayed for 6 nights. Great room, large size and very clean. Huge bed and very comfortable. As with 09% of places I’ve stayed the road traffic can be heard, ear plugs are provided. This didn’t cause any issue.

I loved how convenient and clean the property was. The location is perfect because it’s next to everything you would need restaurants, convenience stores, coffee shops. Only complaint I would have was that the bathroom door was not a door that fully closed. It’s a barnyard sliding door.

Best location in West Hollywood

We had problems on 2 consecutive days with the safe in our room which was not functioning. Had to wait some time both mornings till an engineer came to fix since all our stuff was inside. We were not compensated, which would have been a nice gesture. All receptionists were a bit grumpy and not really focussed on giving the best service possible with a smile. Food at the bar was excellent. Overall we enjoyed SS hotel, the location was perfect.

Great location in West Hollywood, right across from the Farmers Market which made eating option's easy. Cute boutique property, great happy hour, could be extended until 7pm. Great complimentary coffee in the mornings. Would recommend.

For LA, this location is very walkable. Besides the farmers market/grove, you can walk to Swingers Diner or Canter’s Deli, LACMA, Melrose and more. I would highly recommend for first time LA trips
