Stauntons on the Green was a wonderful place to stay. It was right across the street from St. Stephan’s Green park. Our grandchildren loved the park. It was walking distance from many notable places to enjoy. Our room in the basement was large and had two big windows to see the elevated sidewalk outside. They have a delicious breakfast and a lovely garden behind the hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful with our bags.

Stauntons on the Green is a lovely, charming place to stay while in Dublin. It’s very conveniently located near the park, which is directly across the street. The park itself is gorgeous —quiet and lovely in the mornings, then scattered with young people either solo, couples or groups —which makes it a beautiful, social gathering place. You will find a bustling area along Dawson Street of quaint shops, restaurants, as well as a high-end retail stores, buskers on Grafton Street next to Dawson Street. At the end these streets is Trinity College, which has dramatic old buildings and majestic architecture. One of the best things I did in Dublin was the guided tour called The Little Museum of Dublin located in this same area on the north side of St. Stephen’s Green Park, I loved my stay at Stauntons on the Green and would highly recommend it to others!

We stumbled across this gem looking for a place in central Dublin. Our room was very comfortable and luxurious. We found chocolates waiting for us, along coffee and tea, and chamomile tea for bedtime. The room had a vintage looking radio which works. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We had breakfast at the hotel & it was excellent. I ordered the full Irish breakfast which was cooked to order and delivered promptly. Great experience!
