Warm in Ireland!
We were at The Clayton Hotel two weekends with a 5 day tour inbetween. The first weekend was fine. The second weekend, we were put in a room without air conditioning! Even after moving us the next night, it barely kept the roomcool. The windows just don’t open enough to give any air movement.

Horrible, horrible, horrible....
Horrible experience, we stayed there for a week. It was a last minute trip for an unfortunate family occasion. The place should not be called a hotel. Instead it’s a giant event venue. They had events most nights. One night in particular they had loud music until 2.30 am, it was like the drums where in our room. Needless to say we couldn’t sleep and we were very frustrated. Called the reception that night and all I was told is that there is nothing they could do, they had about 1000 people out there and the event was scheduled to go on until 2.30!! The receptionist said that he would file my complaint and that the manager would contact me the next day, but of course we never heard from them! They should not sell this place as a hotel cause it certainly does not function as such!!! Also one morning I was trying to order room service for 45 minutes but no one was answering the phone! The reception kept forwarding my call to the kitchen although I kept telling them that no one was answering there! Finally, they advertise the parking but if you think hotel residents park for free, well don’t! It’s charged extra, but this is not mentioned in their website. Overall very unpleasant experience, save yourselves and go to a decent place!

We had to book Clayton the last minute because of an issue with where we were going to stay. Not a single regret that we had to change. The Clayton was spectacular and the people there were so nice to us. Definitely will be staying there again.

Very Good8.0
Nice hotel
The staff is helpful and friendly, we enjoyed the restaurant on site and the beds were comfortable. We saw a couple of bugs in the bathroom but other than that the room was fine.
