Great location. Nice and peaceful however the menu could use some work. Also the spa is only open until 5p and the spa staff need better training. Overall the rooms were great very clean and nice staff.

Great design, great service

We loved our stay. The staff were amazing. Very, very obliging. The resort suited us so well. Incredible style, great food, comfortable and stunning little touches. I will def try to visit again. I felt like I was away somewhere really special and unique. Thanks for taking care of us so well

Fabulous service from Manager/ Chef Mr Hambi & Sales Manager Ms Karen who rendered kind consideration & genuine helpfulness regarding my Expedia's stay cancellation due to Indonesia immigration limit of 30 days👍👍👍👍👍✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️ Chef instructed staff to prepare my favourite masala tea. Whereas Karen sought management's approval for accommodation refund & extended complimentary spa treatment. SOOOO... IMPRESSIVE!!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Additionally, ALL service staff are so friendly & engaging 👏👏👏👏👏 Furthermore the ocean suite is very spacious & balcony overlooking the expansive shoreline & enchanting waves. Great resort, coupled with exemplary staff, makes a memorable holiday. Cheers! 🍻

I really enjoyed being away from the hustle and bustle at this hideout. The beachfront location was perfect and i really enjoyed the pool area and all the beanbags and day beds provided. Staff at the restaurant and spa were all incredibly friendly. The spa was great, and all the masseuse were very skilled and treatments were fairly priced. Food at the restaurant was great as well! However, the cleanliness and condition of the rooms can definitely be improved. I was attacked by at least a total of 40 mosquitoes on my first night (yes i counted and have loads of photos) at 3am and could not go back to sleep thereafter because they just kept swarming around on the bed and also in the bathroom. Housekeeping provided a bottle of bug spray and electric insecticides the next day and it worked but there were still some mozzies (numbers reduced) that would appear at night. I'm still scarred from the experience. Towels that were supposedly white are greyish looking, but smelled clean. Bed linen and pillowcases all have some stains and smelled like laundry that wasn't dried properly. The shower in the bathroom had weak pressure and no hot water at all. The toiletries were supposedly from Sensatia but the product in the bottles were substituted so its not the original. The location is very far off from the city so be prepared to travel at least an hour. As a whole, the place is lovely and I will revisit but there are definitely lots to improve on as mentioned above.

Das Amber Lombok Beach Resort war das mit Abstand beste Hotel unserer gesamten Indonesien-Reise. Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit hier, in der es uns an nichts gefehlt hat. Wir würden es zu 100% weiterempfehlen und möchten auf jeden Fall noch einmal wiederkommen. Wir hatten auf Bali einen Rollerunfall und wurden sogar von Karin aus dem Hotel ganz wunderbar medizinisch versorgt. Wir waren rundum zufrieden. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend, die Zimmer toll und der Pool und der Strand immer sehr leer.

Amazing Beautiful place beautiful people. Everything was amazing. The staff were the best I’ve had at any resort. Food and drinks reasonably priced and very good. A trip made so special by the amazing team at amber. We will be booking again for next year. My new favourite place

Wir waren als Pärchen für 5 Tage im Amber in einer Villa mit eigenem Pool. Was hat uns gefallen: - Allgemeiner Stil und Einrichtung vom Hotel hat uns sehr gefallen. - Der Strand ist sehr cool. Leider teils stark vermüllt, wofür das Hotel natürlich nichts kann. - Gute Vibes im Restaurant mit Live Musik und chilligen Beats tagsüber. Was hat uns nichts gefallen: - Service war teilweise gar nicht gut. Extrem lange Wartezeiten auf simple Anfragen im Chat. - Essensmöglichkeiten sind überschaubar. Es gibt nur eine Karte und ein Restaurant. Wenn man mehrere Tage Mittags und Abends dort isst, schwindet irgendwann die Abwechslung. - Der große Hotelpool ist wirklich ein Joke. Wir waren heilfroh, dass wir unseren eigenen Pool hatten. Nur Kinder am Pool und die ganze Konstruktion schaut einfach sehr improvisiert aus. Wenige Liegemöglichkeiten. Keine Liegen direkt am Strand. - Preislich hatten wir ein günstigeres Hotel im Westen der Insel, welches deutlich besser war. Wir würden wahrscheinlich nicht mehr ins Amber gehen. Preis-Leistung passt einfach nicht. Und wenn dann nur mit Poolvilla und bestenfalls eine Poolvilla direkt am Strand. Die sahen ganz nice aus.

Decent hotel in South Lombok. Staff is friendly and attentive. Good bar/restaurant. Be aware there is nothing to do around there in the area, all bars, restaurants etc. in the area are closed. Kuta is 40min by car, and difficult to find a taxi to return at night. Beach looks nice, but it's stony in the water, so ppl cannot swim.

Es war so lala… Zimmer nicht fertig, trotz Bestätigung. Kein Begrüßungsdrink, nur eine Aufforderung im Restaurant zu warten… Essen ist mittelmäßig. Wir sind statt 7 Nächte nur eine geblieben und haben den Rest verfallen lassen. Leider gab es auch keinerlei Entgegenkommen seitens des Hotels…

Super zum Relaxen und Arbeiten

ein ruhiger Ort an schönem Strand ohne andere Hotels. Viele Möglichkeiten zum Verweilen und Geniessen. Tolles Restaurant, mega tolles Frühstück (à la Carte + Buffet frei kombinierbar), sehr freundliches Personal. spezieller Kaffee wie Cappucino usw. gabs gegen Aufpreis und dauerte recht lange, aber war dafür sehr lecker und frisch zubereitet. die Portionen im Restaurant sind nicht sehr gross, aber das Essen ist lecker. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und für unseren Zweck (Lernen und Arbeiten in entspannter Atmosphäre) war es perfekt. Rund um das Resort gibt es allerdings nicht viel zu tun oder entdecken. Das Meer war zum Baden (zu unserer Zeit zumindest) nicht so ideal, aber es hat auch oft heftig geregnet und viel Schlamm und Sand reingespült. Gut möglich, dass es ansonsten sehr schön ist. Ebbe und Flut spürt man deutlich, wann man schwimmen darf ist mit einer Fahne am Strand gekennzeichnet. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder hierher zurück.

Unique beachfront location in a quiet bay. The staff so friendly and helpful. Great food and happy hour. It is quite isolated so do need a car or driver to get around. We loved the isolation for a truly relaxing holiday.

Beach front Bliss!

Just absolute beachfront bliss! What an experience... such a stunning resort in a beautiful location with spectacular sunsets. Stayed in a sunset villa, and treated like royalty! Restaurant served amazing food and even better coffee! Spa treatment's rejuvenating, but be sure to book early! My sister and I xan not stop talking about our stay at Amber and are already planning our visit next year. Just be aware, the resort is a distance to closest towns +30 minutes. This is the perfect place to disconnect and breathe.

Oui mais...

Un emplacement de rêve, mais une grande déception par rapport à notre dernier séjour en 2022. La salle de bains qui sent les égouts, pas d endroit pour suspendre les vêtements,difficile d obtenir une serviette de bain pour la piscine, confiture chimique fluo au petit déjeuner (dommage avec tous ces fruits qui poussent là bas)...

The property was beachfront and the beach was very nice and quiet. There were some minor maintenance issues with the room which can easily be addressed but take away from the overall experience.

Rapport qualité prix correct

Séjour convenable pour le prix, le personnel est très prévenant et attentif. Bémol sur les chambres proches des cuisines (500+) qui sont sur deux niveaux, avec quelques nuisances d'odeurs et de bruits quand on est en dessous.
