Exceptional 10.0
Great little gem!
This is a lovely renovated hotel downtown, near music venues and high-end shopping. The rooms are small, but adequate for two people. The decor is mid-century modern, and as a result, the "easy chair" in the room is not comfortable at all. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We were within walking distance of many attractions, and in fact, a walking tour we took met in the same block, one street over. We were also able to get buses and other transit very easily. I pre-paid the four nights months ago, and that, perhaps, is why we got such a great deal, but the price was very reasonable for such a well-located hotel.

Stay here
Really nice and a great price. Rain and more rain made me stay in and have dinner at the Italian restaurant attached to the hotel...excellent !!! I would stay there again!!! Super helpful desk and very clean room.

Poor 2.0
Moda has probably seen better days
Hotel is really run down with rough sheets. Bathroom had been cleaned, but felt dirty. I did have a phenomenal breakfast in the cute restaurant downstairs.

Poor 2.0
AWFUL hotel and service.
While the location of this Hotel is great, everything else about it needs massive improvement. The beds were very hard, which is uncomfortable to me. They do not offer you any amenities, and will direct you to nearby markets if you need anything else. The worst part for me, is the SERVICE. The customer service here is absolutely awful. When I first arrived, I was provided with a free parking pass. Upon check in I was told I had to pay for parking and when I told them that I was provided the pass for free, the attendant continued to dispute me until he made it seem as though he took it off my bill. Upon check-out, I was confronted ONCE AGAIN about this parking fee and with a severe amount of attitude was told that there was no way around it and had to pay for this parking. While the fee is not a big one, it was the lack of service in admitting they may have made a mistake in providing me with the free parking pass and just honoring that even if it's not their typical policy. Do not stay here, there are better hotels with great locations and the pain of having to endure these people is not worth it.
