Lovely boutique
Absolutely fabulous boutique hotel, lovely helpful staff. I got an upgrade to a room with a fireplace and it was super cosy with the morning coffee. I only ate in the restaurant one morning but it was delicious! Not sure about the eco approach, there was no obvious recycling going on that I could see but hopefully there is.

Luxury (not overdone) close to everything
We were going to stay at the Empress and decided a smaller hotel would fit our needs better. From first booking the Magnolia, we received 5-star service! That was re-enforced upon our arrival and stay. In addition to the wonderful service, the hotel was beautifully appointed in a way that didn't make you feel you had to be dressed up. The room had an incredible view with comfortable beds and pillows. We enjoyed the restaurant daily. The location couldn't have been better. We were close to everything and had a water view. It is the only place I would stay in Victoria!
