À fuir. En plus de l'impression de déranger le personnel, l'accueil n'est vraiment pas chaleureux, la propreté laisse vraiment à désirer surtout dans la salle de bains. Nous y étions pendant les grandes chaleurs, pas de clim, chambre plein ouest, des ventilateurs d'un autre temps ... Sur le site il est noté qu'ils peuvent organiser le transfert vers l'aéroport mais ce n'est pas vrai, ils ont arrêté de rendre ce service et ne font aucun effort pour vous aider. La veille de notre départ, la réceptionniste nous avait dit qu'elle pourrait garder nos bagages entre l'heure où il fallait quitter la chambre et notre heure de départ pour l'aéroport, le lendemain ce n'était pas la même personne et celui qui était là nous a simplement dit que ce n'était pas possible, et devant notre étonnement il nous a répondu " si vous n'êtes pas contents, c'est pareil". Je voyage beaucoup pour le travail notamment et je n'ai jamais vu ça de ma vie À croire que cet hôtel fait tout pour mettre la clé sous la porte.

The room seemed clean at first, no bed bugs or anything, but when i looked under the bed it was full of dust and garbage from other guests, the walls in the bathroom were dirty, and overall it didn't feel very sanitary. There was no air-conditioning in the room, just a cooling fan. Horrible during a heatwave, and even when it got cooler outside, the room was still uncomfortably warm. Tried opening the window as much as possible to air out, but no luck. There was no private balcony either, even though it says so here at hotels.com. I checked the New Linden's own website and apparently there's only one room type with balcony, not all. Lastly l put "Do Not Disturb" on my door, jet housekeeping would come by every day, knocking, in the morning. Do not recommend, and will not stay here again.

Huone oli likainen, lattialla pölyä ja lasipöytä likainen. Vessa oli siisti, mutta ei ilmanvaihtoa, joten jäi suihkun jälkeen hyvin kuumaksi ja kosteaksi. Huoneessa oli pieni vaatekaappi jossa kaksi henkaria, mutta hyvin epäkäytännöllinen, sillä muuta naulakkoa ei ollut ja laskutila puuttui. Televisio ei toiminut, vaikka uudet patterit vaihdettiin kaukosäätimeen. Ei ilmastointia, mutta pieni tuuletin ja ikkunan sai auki. Aamiaisen saatavuus jäi epäselväksi, sisäänkirjautuessa lapussa mainittiin aamiainen ja tarjoiluaika, mutta todellisuudessa sitä ei ollut. Sijainniltaan oli hyvä ja rauhallinen, lähellä paljon nähtävää ja kulkuyhteidet olivat hyvät. Henkilökunta oli mukava.

Room was clean and modern though had some maintenance issues. i.e. 2 pin plug for table lamp when its a UK socket!! No shower curtain so floor gets very wet, bath but no water taps just the shower. No air con, though fan provided. Hair dryer available from reception. Room 17, was nice and quiet. Excellent restaurant (Frame) and cafe (Beam) as well as a small sainsburys nearby.

Bra hotell på bästa läget. Mycket mysigt och lugnt område nära till allt. Fick först ett rum på 4:e våningen som var olidligt varmt. Ingen AC bara en fläkt. Fick byta till källarplan vilket hjälpte enormt i värmeböljan. Snäll och hjälpsam personal. Rent, sköna sängar och härlig dusch.

Disgusting, soiled bedding which weren't changed despite asking on multiple occasions meaning we slept on towels, and what seemed to be literal fairy liquid as the supplied shower gel. Honestly, for the price and location you really can't go wrong as a place to dump your gear and sleep, but just don't expect it to be a pleasant stay.

Ett fint hotell i närheten av Hyde Park. Lätt att utgå från för att ta sig runt i London. Väldigt fint och tryggt område. Kan vara värt att notera att det inte finns ett bagagerum tillgängligt. Vi fick förvara vårt bagage i lobbyn innan incheckning, vilket kändes lite otryggt. Två morgonar i rad blev vi väckta av ett larm som gick i hela hotellet, tydligen utan anledning. Vi såg fram emot att få sova ut på vår semester och blev störda av detta. Rummet var väldigt litet och extremt varmt. Vi kunde öppna ett fönster för att sänka temperaturen lite, men en fläkt hade varit bra, speciellt eftersom det sällan är tyst på gatan utanför även på natten och morgonen. Vi åt ingen frukost på hotellet utan valde att sova sent och istället gå ut för att äta. Många bra restauranger och kaféer i närheten med allt från asiatiskt till all day brunch. Kan också vara bra att notera att alkohol inte är tillåtet på hotellet! Inget som störde oss, men kan vara bra att veta för andra besökare. Allt som allt var det en ganska bra vistelse. Det största plusset är definitivt läget med närhet till bussar, tunnelbana och fantastiska Hyde Park.

Utterly disappointing. The hotel is very rundown and dirty. We did change rooms when we checked in as they put us on the ground floor where we would be unable to open a window. There is no air conditioning, just fans which blow dust around the room. The room was dirty and noisy. The shower fell apart and a heavy piece of metal fell on my daughter’s foot. Water doesn’t drain away and previous occupants soap left in the bath. It is definitely not the star rating it claims to be. At times I felt unwell seeing how dirty it was and if I had the money, I would have checked out immediately and found an alternative. This did ruin the weekend for me which my daughter and me had really looked forward to. The female staff were kind and helpful but the male staff didn’t really know what he was doing and also labelled our luggage with the wrong room number. Luckily we got it before it went missing with someone else’s bags. The maintenance man fixed the shower, but her was intimidating and did not have the best personal hygiene. This is one to avoid.

Lady at reception upon arrival looked like she didn't want to be there, no greeting just a blank stare, described as every room as a balcony well room 10 definitely doesn't, in the basement with such a disgusting bathroom, the white grout is all yellow and brown stained, the pillows on the bed are too hard, the main lights in the room had a few bulbs that had gone and the remaining seemed to start flickering so fast every 10mins like it was a rave, the WiFi was so poor and TV reception was even worse, I do believe this was due to being in the basement, the pictures are not a true reflection on the property, very unhappy with the stay

There was a customer screaming in reception. Room was clean but very hot. There was an old fan in there that didn’t really help circulate the air but there was an iron and ironing board. Safe was locked - didn’t ask to open it as it was too small for my laptop anyway. The hotel information book in the room mentioned dining times but absolutely no idea why as there didn’t seem to be a reference to any restaurant anywhere (including on the amenities when booking). It was hard to read in general as it’s old and the ink had blurred. Overall it was ok as a base to return to for the night. It’s functional.

Filthy room (stains, hairs), missing services promised in booking confirmation (‘Egyptian cotton’ sheets, ‘balcony’, ‘newspapers’, ‘left luggage’). None of the above services are available and whilst the rest of the staff are lovely the owner is somewhat rude. I booked a “4 star hotel” and was told “this is not a full service hotel”. Separately, they also have hidden surcharges e.g £130 if you leave your room key in your room and need letting in etc. these are only visible inside the property; thus, fleecing unsuspecting customers. Book only if you are okay with dirty 2 star hotels.
