This is a safe little way station. It doesn't look like it but it is a safe place to rest your head. Miss K was a big help on checking in and allowing for a paid late check out. This is a basic place to stay but allows you to rest safely while spending your day exploring Austin.

Pretty bad room. Room was the kind you check the bed before getting in to see if there's a dead body or bed bugs. Bed was comfortable and air conditioner worked good but that's it! Bathroom was something you want to forget about just go in and do your business and get the hell out.

The hotel was totally run down. There wasn't even coffee or a trash can in the room. In the parking lot they had 2 picnic tables & people were making noises & who knows what else late into the night. Traveling as a single woman I felt very unsafe. Hotel staff at check-in was nice. I left the next day at 7 am & there was no staff to be found.

Absolutely the WORST hotel I’ve ever booked. It was NASTY. Do NOT book this hotel. There were dead roaches in the room and in the hallway, trash littered everywhere in the hallway. It appears nobody has vacuumed or cleaned the carpets in months. The second you walked into the hotel, you could smell weed. The entire 3rd floor smelled like weed, we had kids with us this stay, that is the only reason I’m complaining about the smell, but it’s posted as a non smoking facility. Austin PD was being called to the property while we were addressing concerns with the front desk, by the front desk. The only good thing I can say about this whole experience, the guy at the front desk was PHENOMENAL. He was so polite, understanding and apologetic for the entire situation that he had no control over. if I could I would give him 10 stars.

It had been 13 years since I had stayed there. While the room was very large and everything worked. The floor was buckling under the bed. And there were bugs in the room. It wasn't a full on infestation. But I still shouldn't have to kill any bugs in a hotel. And I know that's not necessarily the staff's fault. And they were wonderful. Overall I did enjoy my stay. And should I ever say again I'll just make sure to bring my own cleaning supplies. But again for the price it was just what I needed. I do recommend staying there as long as you are able to clean your room when you first get there.

No elevator. The whole floor smelled like tobacco. Roaches in the rooms. Towels looked really worn out. Less than half a roll of toilet paper. Floor was uneven. As per our kids staying in a second room, the room looked un sanitized and the smoke alarm was covered with a plastic bag. We even decided to skip a shower, that's how bad it was. The stairways were nasty, trash all over the place. Its a shame, the rooms are very big and very spacious, those are hard to find, but the place is really badly maintained. This room is in a tie with the worst one we have stayed on.
