It was good. Staff was fantastic. Beds were not comfortable at all, though. I could not get a single good night sleep the entire week I was there. My colleagues who stayed there as well all commented the same to me.

I am going to be honest here. The hotel is a large revamped traditional hotel. Smallish rooms layed out similarly to hotel chains but with a "hipster" vibe like one feels through Kimpton hotels. The decor was trendy and the food and staff were superb. The stay, however, was less than desirable. We were there for four nights. They put us on a low floor facing a very busy street where very loud cars and motorcycles revved their engines all.night.long. We barely slept the whole time - FOUR nights of barely sleeping. The hotel was hosting several weddings and could not accommodate moving us. In my opinion, they should have never put us there. They know the low floors facing the street are loud. Put your one - two night folks there. The other thing is that although the beds are comfortable, the mattresses slide around a lot and after four nights of this, the bottom sheet, which is not fitted, gets super wrinkled and uncomfortable. In full disclosure, the hotel upon checkout did apologize and later followed up with a comp stay, which is nice. I usually stay at the Van Zandt, which is an amazing hotel. Im not sure Im willing to give The Line another try.

Trying too hard and not succeeding.
I booked an upgraded room looking at the lake (river). I was sent to a stardard room looking at the parking lot. I went to switch and although it was difficult was finally given the correct room. The carpet was very dirty including several brown (dog poo) stains. Room smelled. Event at the hotel had bass booming and heard loudly from 7-11PM

Nice Vibe
Nice vibe, but carpet was too dark on my floor. Seemed old and small. Nicet to be able to text and get my car from the valet. The restaurant was ok, because meat and noodles were too dry.
