Very beautiful location and a nice property. The staff are so sincere and helpful, but the hotel is extremely over priced for what it actually is. They are charging Ritz-Carlton pricing for a Hilton experience.

A truly lovely hotel with great rooms. All staff charming, manager wonderful and head chef had great creative dishes. Loved this place and will try other Anantara hotels.

Food options limited, especially breakfast options. Staff friendly and helpful. But overall it is overpriced.

A great choice for a short stay in Desaru. Rooms are very comfortable and spacious with large bathrooms and balconies. Pool and beach areas are beautiful and relaxing. Good variety of food at breakfast, service in the restaurants and bars was friendly but often rather slow. Limited dining options on site and not much else in the area other than a few other hotels and the golf course.

Great service provided

The room cleanliness and hotel service were excellent. However, the room aircon was not strong, managed to get the Technician to adjust for us. If the room comes with complimentary minibar will be a bonus point (it is quite common for a luxury hotel).

Lovely room, clean and private. Excellent service. Decent food at Tumeric restaurant. Overall lovely stay, would recommend for a quick getaway!

Spa is definitely an AVOID. Surprising part, they wanted us to ptovide feedback and once they knew that we were not happy with the spa, they actually took back the tablet through which we were to provide feedback. Unprofessional and unacceptable behaviour - can easily pass off as a *** Star Property. Will never go there.

Second time visit to Anantara Desaru. Overall is good. Just the toilet is smelly.

The breakfast was quite inconvenient as there was long queue and we have to wait. Other than this it’s quite pleasant stay. House keeping service is good.

Swimming pool should open till 10pm. Closes so early at 7pm. No lights at the beach at night . No other activities organized by the hotel . Very boring .

Gorgeous property, warm hospitality

Amazing 3D2N stay at this classy resort. Extremely hospitable and welcoming staff. Somewhat limited F&B choices but the quality of what was available was very high. Beautiful stretch of beach readily accessible from the hotel.
