Overall the place runs smoothly, from the moment you step in the hotel, you will find the front desk staff is very kind and helpful, the pool has a very nice ambience and the rooms are very spacious, clean and nice looking. As a plus, the location is walking distance to all the main attractions in Downtown Las Vegas like the mob museum, the Freemont experience and container park. Also, good restaurants inside the property like “Freedom Beat” where you can find a prime rib buffet, or simply walk out of the hotel and you can find countless restaurant options.

We enjoyed the location for its proximity to Fremont street. However, our room had ants crawling all over everything and the noise from the Gold Spike right outside of our window was bone jarring until 1am both nights of our stay. There is literally no sound proofing whatsoever. The housekeeping staff did a good job cleaning and refreshing our room (despite the ants) and the front desk staff were very polite.
