Recommend the Rush Tower
I would definitely recommend staying in the Rush Tower. It's updated and the rooms are very spacious. The staff throughout check in to check out was awesome. Will stay here again.

Nice except the room was on the side with a concert/dj area outside of the hotel grounds. It was extremely loud, shook windows and walls. out of 3 nights only 1 night was quite, the other 2 were bad till around 1:00 am. VERY hard to get sleep. Wish I knew about this before hand and requested a room away from that area.

Customer service leaves a lit to be desired
I was extremely disappointed in our check in process. Check in felt like we were annoying to the counter clerk. We had been waiting for our room for 4 hours on a Monday. I understand early check in isn't guaranteed, no doubt, but as we had thought a suite and corner room would be a priority to have ready, even an hour before? Nope, 10 minutes before check in, only because we pushed the issue or it would have been past check in, to even get to our room. It was my Birthday and I was super disappointed that even a small extension wasn't given, especially since we let them know ASAP about this being a special trip. The Flamingo was stupendous last year getting us in 1 1/2 hours early, we gave a similar heads up to them and they went out of their way, which was a big deal. The suite however was beautiful and clean. Very pretty.

Very nice stay.
Very nice stay.. .but make sure you are in the Rush Tower or one of the newer towers. My understanding is the older towers are not so nice per my colleague who had a different tower. Food prices for the hotel and souring area are WAY better than downtown. Staff was very friendly!

Good people, okay rooms.
The bathroom was a little water-damaged, with peeling paint, visible mildew and mold along parts of the baseboard and rust along the base of the tub. The toilet clogged for no good reason, but then sort of fixed itself about an hour. On the first day, our housekeeper didn't ever come, despite a request. To their credit, the hotel, in response, gave us a 50 dollar food/drink voucher and waived the resort fee for that day. I was satisfied after that. Also, there appeared to be a little dog turd by the front desk, but I blame the customers for that. In addition, there was a 10-inch long white drip of some residual dried liquid on my cloth headboard and I was afraid to tough it. Frankly, it did not look like some innocent material, but who knows? I'm not in forensics. The people themselves, (the employees), were very helpful and I have no complaints about the service we received in person. Everyone was nice. I was at this hotel five years ago and a few things have changed for the worse, too. This time I stayed in the Carson Tower in case you were wondering. The rooms in the Rush and Gold tower were a little nicer, but a family member in the Rush Tower also did not get their room cleaned. The Carson Tower is like the "run down" tower (in my book), and is not even as nice as the other towers. The pool is very nice but crowded at times, drinks are reasonable, and there are good places to eat there. Overall, I give my experience a B/B+
