We stayed at the Nittany Lion Inn while in town for a campus tour, Great location that allowed us to walk around campus and get a good feel for the area. Staff were very friendly and had helpful suggestions. Rooms were well equipped, clean, and comfortable. Would definitely stay again!

Love the hallway/lobby with the many seating areas and books. Its elegant and peaceful. Check-in was seamless. The layout of of the rooms is a bit confusing at first but you get the gist of it. Overall a wonderful stay

Nice hotel with a few exceptions . We stayed on a non-football weekend so it was still reasonably expensive (350 for the night with parking). Biggest issue was no hot water for the night of arrival and the next morning . Got an apology at check out that maintenance “was working on the issue” but nothing else. Heat and fan in room turned on in the middle of the night (room 285 if the hotel is reading this) and was remarkably loud for about 10-15 minutes — which seems like forever at 3am and when trying to get back to sleep. Would have preferred coffee to espresso in the room but that is a small thing. Otherwise, clean, comfortable, great bed.

Everything was fabulous except the woman at the front desk that checked us in. She was very short with us and told us we would receive a text message when our room was ready. That message was never sent. Instead when we went to check in with another person, she told us rooms were all ready a while ago. The gentlemen working the valet were the best! So friendly, helpful and hustled to get our car each time!
