Relaxing and enjoyable
Enjoyed my stay here while attending a wedding on the property. It was the skiing off-season and I can see how this place would get very active during the active season. Didn't have an opportunity to take part in any activities and i'm not sure there were any available, which is a shame. Maybe I"m wrong. In all, I would come back.

Reeked of cigarettes -- in a non-smoking riom
The room was not clean. There was glitter (yes glitter all over the floor). Despite being a non-smoking resort, when we stepped out on the terrace adjoining our room it was littered with cigarette butts and reeked of smoke. The room was a bit shabby. The bathroom door had a big gouge/hole in it's handle that made it hard to close easily.

Mobbed at the bar
We arrived there to stay the night on our road trip. We were seated at the Grille restaurant in the resort for dinner. At the same time there was a corporate event and our supposedly quiet dinner became a chaos as we found ourselves surrounded by a large number over capacity drunk dudes from that company hanging at the bar. It was so loud that our heads are still banging after a day. The location and resort was great but definitely a failure managing a large crowd from events at the location and letting loud obnoxious drunk people ruin other guest’s stay.

A Tale of Two Nights
My wife and I recently stayed at Bear Creek. It was our first time staying overnight at the property. It was truly a tale of two nights. We stayed from Thursday to Saturday in a room with two queen beds (only rate available when we booked). The first night was great and we had a nice quiet rest after a late arrival at the hotel. The room overall is comfortable as are the beds. The bathroom has a sink area separate from the toilet/shower. The shower floor was a bit dirty and likely stained from use so this could use updating. We had a ground floor room that stepped out on a shared paver patio with the other ground floor rooms. Most of the rooms had a small table and chairs on the patio but ours did not for some reason. The second night was horrible. They had several weddings at the hotel that weekend and we had a group with several smaller kids staying above us. It was like living under a herd of elephants. Constant running and jumping both in the evening and in the morning. After the kids were likely in bed the herd just kept on going by above. Could have been the luggage carts, clean up from the weddings, or just people constantly walking in the hallway above our room but it was truly awful. We do take part of the blame as we didn’t complain to the front desk to try and get the situation remedied. If you stay at Bear Creek on a busy weekend, be sure you are not in a ground floor room. You will definitely regret it.
