After a tiny stumble at the start because the shower waste was blocked, after meeting the staff and how incredibly helpful they were I can’t fault this place at all. The rooms are fabulous, the staff are some of the best I’ve ever encountered, the spa was so much better than I expected and had more amenities than I realised when I booked. In a nut shell if you want a relaxing break away in a room that won’t disappoint in a beautiful setting with the most gorgeous staff then this is the place for you. Thank you Rockhill 🙏

Staff were very helpful and informative. They provided a short tour explaining the history and architectural and bespoke decor. The hotel was clean and the facilities in the room were as expected. Breakfast was very good with the usual 5 star table service. The use of the spa was an extra €49 which probably should be included and to be fair if it was added to the original price it would still represent a reasonable price for this accommodation. This property is very quiet and isolated therefore if you are looking a lively weekend away with music this isn’t for you. If you want a quiet retreat this is ideal. Letterkenny is a short drive or taxi should you want the best of both.

8/10 Very good

Our room was adjacent to the main house, room was clean but roman shade was broken and the large chandelier in the banquet room directly across from us was left on all night making our room very bright. The staff were friendly and welcoming.

We had a lovely relaxing stay in Rockhill House. Staff were exceptional! Nathaniel on reception extended to us a warm friendly welcome and he had a little time to spare kindly allowing us to have a tour of the beautiful Rockhill House. Our first impressions were excellent and this applied right throughout our stay. We highly recommend Rockhill House!

This hotel was nice. The history behind it was cool to read about. The thing I didn't like is that there was no air conditioning and we were fortunate to be in Ireland when it was 90 and sunny but sleeping was hard w/out fans.

Wow, literally blown away by The Rockhill Estate. Every detail of the property is of the finest quality, the customer service is impeccable and the quality of food was sublime. I would definitely recommend for a luxury stay. From the moment you enter the impressive drive up to main building you are transported to peace, tranquility and luxury. I can’t thank the staff enough for making our stay so wonderful. Blown away and will definitely be back. Our room was stunning and most importantly romantically comfortable. Thank you a million times more

Gorgeous property with friendly staff. Beautiful room with comfortable beds. We enjoyed our stay even though we were placed in the adjacent building without elevator (carrying our heavy luggage upstairs was a pain). The restaurant is wonderful, but the spa was closed during our stay, bummer! Check the schedule if planning on using the spa

I wish I could give more stars. This was an absolute dream stay! We were celebrating our proposal/birthday and the staff were so kind and thoughtful when it came to our celebration. The included breakfast (pancakes/waffles) were AMAZING! The dinner was also so delicious. I wish we stayed here longer. Thank you again!

An amazing location in a restored Georgian country manor. As you pull up to the main door, it may occur to you that the entire staff should be lined up to greet you in Downton Abbey style. That's how perfect it is! The staff is excellent. The only flaw was that our room's smoke detector had a hideous blue light that was way too bright at night. There was no way to get the room dark.

6/10 Good

Beautiful grounds, strange experiences

The grounds are lovely, the beds are very comfortable, and the history is interesting. The experience, however, was difficult and comical. The room we paid extra for was not available (though the door to the room was wide open and empty the whole night). The breakfast took over an hour to be served, forcing a late check-out (despite being asked to arrive promptly for our reservation). There was no hand soap next to the sink, but two shower caps. The room was over-engineered, with extraordinarily thick doors, which made it quiet and… unbearably stale and hot. The newest technology in fire safety ment we were safe, but the light coming from the smoke detector was hilariously bright. We’re unsure if we were just unlikely, or if the place has a curse. It’s beautiful, awkwardly quiet, and the staff was very nice, but it was not our best night.
