Clayton Hotel Liffey Valley, Dublin
Very nice but it was a mile walk to the bus stop. Not close to airport if using transit.

... meh ...
NOTE WELL: If you're looking for the "Clayton Hotel Liffey Valley," you aren't going to find it, and here's why; the hotel changed it's name in mid-October 2017. The NEW name is the "Clarion Hotel." "No big deal," you say? Today's GPS/navigation systems are updating continuously. Got into my car and entered "Clayton Hotel Liffey Valley." No dice, because that name was no longer recognized. Had to pull over and ask someone. As luck would have, my stranger explained the name change, and told me I was right on top of it. As far as the hotel itself, it's a corporation. It's predictable. It's boring. Maybe those criteria are what you're actually looking for. Have at it. The B&B at which I stayed previously trumped this corporate hotel. Case in point: The B&B owner was gracious enough to lend me the appropriate outlet adapter (do your homework on outlet adapters BEFORE your departure). The "Clayton Hotel Liffey Valley," a.k.a. the "Clarion Hotel" was "gracious" enough to sell me one, and it was sold to me with a heaping helping of condescension. Their self-righteous attitude is only to be outdone by their inexorably slow service. Hotel's food was a paragon of mediocrity. Do yourself a favor. Take a SERIOUS look at B&Bs in the Dublin area. You won't be sorry.
