Staff was exceptionally efficient and gracious, especially Kevin who somehow remembered our names every day. Beautiful rooms, most excellent snacks. We were only 2 days away from the dining room re-opening after renovation, so we will have to come back!! Thank you!

10/10 Exceptional

Beautiful hotel in Birmingham, an upscale area With restaurants and shops. I would call the Townsend a 4.5 hotel, not quite a Ritz, but way above a nice Marriott. The bed was the most comfortable bed ever, the staff responsive, the room well designed and the bathroom lovely. The shower was not strong.
