We visited Berlin during recent heat wave. This DoubleTree hotel has an excellent air condition. It was so pleasant to stay at hotel during hottest hours. The hotel breakfast is excellent. Wifi is fast too. Finally the location is really nice. Metro, train and bus station are near by. There are also plenty of restaurants. Highly recommended!

About 3 mins walk to Europa centre, about 12 mins walk to KaDeWe department store and various restaurants. Staff are prompt and professional. Below average breakfast; poor choice of menu, subpar quality breads and lack of potatoes and sausages. It should be a crime to charge 25 EUR per person for that. Do not drink water prepared in rooms unless you are member of hotel chain or they'll charge you 4.5 EUR for each bottle.

Fab hotel in a well connected area just off the KuDam for shopping. Great restaurants pizza- Sale und Pepe Burgers - original Burger. One tiny fault all weekend the shower in the hotel just wasn’t quite warm enough - I guess they had the temp turned down for environmental reasons but just too much.
