My friend and i booked a twin ensuite room. It was extremely clean with comfortable beds. The staff was very friendly and helpful The location was great- steps from the Royal mile. Self-service laundry was easy to use. Breakfast was very good- would recommend booking in advance for 6.50 deal. The ambience was what sold it for me- more positive energy than a typical hotel.

Fantastic stay. Place is well located, very clean, good food and had numerous shared spaces outside of the room to relax. Staff was friendly and informative, making extra efforts to build a feeling of community. Only area of opportunity are the towels. They need to either do a better job of cleaning or replacement as they had a bit of a smell.

The C.O.D.E is convenient to everything..museums, shopping, Mary Kings Close, the Lost Close and many restaurants and pubs. The location is next to St Giles cathedral on the Royal Mile...I would diffently stay there again.

Really wonderful stay in an 8 bed female dorm at The Code. Room was clean, lockers for belongings are large and easy to access. Common area bathrooms were very clean and never crowded.
