Avoid... Bed bugs are terrible
Customer service was great. Good breakfast Uncomfortable beds, location is right on the busiest road in Edinbrugh which makes it hard to sleep due to the sound of cars. Last night there I started itching and now I have unbelievable amount of bed bugs bites on my body. Had to go to the clinic

Overnight stay
one night stay whilst passing though Scotland. Room was bigger than we expected and well kept. Breakfast has pliantly of options and the cooked food was very nice.

The hotel is located in a good and well known area of Edinburgh. The room was very disappointing (attic), very shabby. Needs to be refurbished and decorated. Bathroom also needs upgraded. In fact, overall, the hotel is very tired and shabby looking. However the staff were very friendly and pleasant. Breakfast excellent. We expected the room pleasant and comfortable.

Very Good8.0
Overall a good stay in a reasonably priced hotel with a great room with plenty of space, a couple of things spoiled the trip the main one being the shower in our room, it took an age to heat up and when it did eventually heat up it wan no more than a trickle which was really disappointing considering the room was a great size. I also dont think the hotel was really geared up for an evening meal as it seemed short staffed to provide this service, there only seemed to be one lady on duty and she was pushed to provide the service, we eventually left the hotel and ate out. This is not a criticism of the staff we dealt with at the hotel who were friendly and helpful but as mentioned seemed short handed.

Staff were friendly individually, but no communication between them as one shift worker said something and was not available when should have been as next shift worker didn't know about it.
