Avoid... Bed bugs are terrible
Customer service was great. Good breakfast Uncomfortable beds, location is right on the busiest road in Edinbrugh which makes it hard to sleep due to the sound of cars. Last night there I started itching and now I have unbelievable amount of bed bugs bites on my body. Had to go to the clinic

Not bad.
This was a pretty good place. The staff was nice, and the neighborhood above average. Breakfast was cooked to order and good. It's a short cab ride from the airport and from Princes Street. However, our room was at the very top of the building (3rd floor) with the last staircase narrow and winding. The 3rd floor is out of range of the wifi. There were too many beds in one of our rooms (3 singles and a double), so the room was cramped. The beds had no mattress pads, and the bedspreads urgently needed cleaning/replacing (if this had been done, I'd give them a 4). We couldn't get the TV to work.

Very Good8.0
Overall a good stay in a reasonably priced hotel with a great room with plenty of space, a couple of things spoiled the trip the main one being the shower in our room, it took an age to heat up and when it did eventually heat up it wan no more than a trickle which was really disappointing considering the room was a great size. I also dont think the hotel was really geared up for an evening meal as it seemed short staffed to provide this service, there only seemed to be one lady on duty and she was pushed to provide the service, we eventually left the hotel and ate out. This is not a criticism of the staff we dealt with at the hotel who were friendly and helpful but as mentioned seemed short handed.

Very Good8.0
Staff were friendly individually, but no communication between them as one shift worker said something and was not available when should have been as next shift worker didn't know about it.
