This hotel was excellent! The location adjacent to the Market district downtown made it easy to walk to several key historical sites, restaurants, and shopping in Charleston. The staff were super. Extra bonus points for the custodial staff who cleaned rooms *twice* per day. Overall, 5 stars.

We had a wonderful stay at Planters Inn while celebrating my mom’s 80th birthday in Charleston. The staff was exceptional, our courtyard-facing suite was spacious and comfortable, and the location was perfect. Having a great restaurant on-site was an added bonus. We would definitely stay here again!

Our stay at the Planters Inn at Meeting & Market streets was absolutely wonderful. We can't wait to go back and stay again. Rooms were lovely, the courtyard very quaint and we had a delicious meal at the Peninsula Grill.
