The staff was friendly, and the restaurant in a beautifully-restored wooden dhow was a special experience. This is apparently a German-owned resort and German-speaking guests would feel especially at home here. "

"After arriving and checking in, we ordered a meal in the dining room by the swimming pool as a couple with 4 children. We ordered 2 sandwiches and 2 pizzas for the children to share. It took nearly 2 hours for the food to arrive!!! Very poor service for such a simple meal from the menu.
The room was well appointed and comfortable.
We booked 2 packet breakfasts as we were due to leave the hotel at 5:30am. We were so disappointed... 3 small slices of watermelon and some warm flatbread. Nothing...

"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel situated in a nice peaceful tropical garden.
The design of the place is really nice, mixing traditional elements to contemporary ones.
The rooms are very spacious , with a large dressing room. There are tea and coffe facilities in the room that are refilled every day. Even the kettle is refilled everyday. A detail i really appreciated.
Breakfast is great and served in a very nice open space. The staff is super friendly. We also had lunch by the pool which...

"There was amazing air con every time we walked into the room we almost got to cold when we arrived the the room was spotless and also offer's to clean your room at any point during your stay the bar and all the restraunts were outstanding with amazing food and drink.they also had a lovely view overlooking the beach and you could go and enjoy a day on the beach then staff at Diani sea resort were absolutely incredible they always were up for fun in joyful way ,they were extremely kind and helpful and always put as much time and effort as they can with a positive energy they also go out of their way to make really fun activities for both adults and kids. Overall this place was absolutely AWESOME 👍"

"Our stay at Serena Bay was absolutely outstanding from start to finish. The service was exceptional — truly a 10/10 experience thanks to the warm, attentive, and professional staff who made us feel welcome every single day.
We stayed for 8 days in a beautiful room overlooking the beach, and waking up to that stunning view every morning was unforgettable. The food was fantastic across both restaurants — delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. One of the highlights was the daily afternoon tea from 4–5 p.m., which offered a lovely selection of treats in a relaxing setting.
The spa team was wonderful as well professional, friendly, and they created such a calm, peaceful atmosphere that made it easy to unwind completely.
For families, the kids club was an absolute gem. Our 3-year-old daughter adored it and looked forward to going every day. The staff were incredibly caring, patient, and engaging, we could see how much they genuinely enjoyed spending time with the children.
Overall, Serena Bay exceeded all our expectations. It’s the perfect place for both relaxation and family fun. We can’t recommend it highly enough and can’t wait to return!"
