Hotel Gion Ichirin was better than I anticipated. The staff were very friendly, there’s a free open bar in your room and in the lounge, plus coffee and croissants are available each morning. There are two private baths available to reserve for 5000 YEN that include a hot tub and sauna or steam shower.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The location is great as well as the room and facilities. Their spa facility which guests can reserve for a reasonable fee. Everything is great except the breakfast menu is limited. Their staff is also very friendly. We would come back again!
