Location was perfect!!
Trip was Great! Location was perfect across from Princes Garden Park, train station, and Bus stops. Room was a little smaller than we are use to and no Air conditioning which wasn’t a factor for us weather was cool.

Booked Mercure because of inhouse bar and restaurant. Both were empty, due to in-progress remodeling. Breakfast was good. Question about hotel via e-mail went unanswered.Nice view of a fire escape.

All in all a good stay.
Room very comfortable and location perfect for Edinburgh. A bit frustrated as restaurant in refurbishment. Food good. Will try again on another visit when refurbishment completed

The bathroom needed work. And the windows locks were very loose, but we were enough floors up we didn't worry about someone breaking in.
