6/10 Good

Friendly helpful staff, great location. Carpark expensive at £25 per day. Cleanliness of the room average or just below. Lots of foreign hairs around the edge of the bathroom floor, which could do with a thorough steam clean. Carpet had a few stains and the vents in the ceiling needed a clean as they were very dusty and had cobwebs.

Overall a nice stay at the hotel. Room was clean and staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was excellent within walking distance of shopping and restaurants. My only complaint was that due to 'green initiatives' the air conditioning in the room would turn itself off after a few hours. This is not ideal during a heatwave when you wake up sweating three times during the night and have to reset the a/c.

It was a good decent room with staff willing to go that extra step for you. I would recommend this hotel and would stay again if required.

6/10 Good

The staff and hotel were wonderful, we chose this place as Hotels.com told us the rooms have air conditioning, this is not correct, the fitted units I think are old and out of service so not working, there was a fan which did nothing to lower the temperature in the hottest day of the year.

Air con in our room was broken, and the building runs quite warm. But our room came with 2 large fans that helped a lot, so thank you to the staff for that.

We stayed at The Leonardo Hotel for one night. We parked in the Grey Friars NCP car park located 100yrds around the corner. On arrival the sweet lady greeted us. She gave me a 15% off discount code to use for parking. Check in is at 3pm. Id requested an early check in if possible. This was granted. We were given directions to our room. 2nd floor room 222. Great size room. Bright and airy. Tea and coffee making facilities were available. The room and bathroom were clean. Very comfortable large King bed. Breakfast was from 7 until 11 on a Sunday. There was a vast variety of food to cooked from. We had the full English. It was all carvery style to hellpourself to

Didn’t like the shower, water needed in the room especially due to current heat wave. Arriving for breakfast at 09.40 resulted in most food either all gone or very low. Reception staff extremely pleasant & helpful, large bed was very comfortable. Overall good location.

10/10 Exceptional

We had a great stay, although only the one night. I opted for the early book in at a cost, but was worth the money to secure a parking space. Parking was a concern, as there are limited spaces on site, but should you fail to secure a spot, the are other parking sites close by, all at a cost. The room was brilliant as we were upgraded, but if I had a complaint, it was the A/C. When on high it made a rattling noise but was fixed by placing it on low. I'm not going to hold that against them because machinery does breakdown and it still did its job. All in all, I'd recommend the hotel to my friends and family as its location is ideal for shopping or sporting events.

The room was clean and spacious. The staff was kind and helpful. The breakfast is amazing. The location of the hotel is great. The only thing is, the scent of the soap and shampoo is so bad. Other than that I am very pleasant about the whole experience.
