Would recommend 1 evening in Makarska approx 30 mins away by taxi /bus shuttle just to experience something a bit different to the hotel (but hotel evening food/entertainment can't be faulted). The local drinks...

"We were on the 5th floor with a sea view and it was beyond what we expected! The balcony and view were amazing, the apartment was spacious and modern, all windows had automatic shutters to block out light making it easy to sleep. The balcony had a rack to dry your bathing suits and towels which was great. The swimming

was perfect for the kids and the beach was right in front of the hotel (the water is stunning, warm and clean!!). The staff was amazing and so kind for check in and check out....

areas with lots of sun beds. Nice walk into Makarska. Beer prices were reasonable especially compared to Dubrovnik. We got upgraded to superior room which was huge and very comfortable bed. Highly recommend and we plan on returning "
