"This is a conveniently located, clean, comfortable, safe, low-cost, no-frills motel, the kind where you bring your own toiletries and hair-dryer and might have to ask for extra towels. (Think Schitt’s Creek, not fancy nor pretending to be). Beds are great and showers are hot. Everyone at the desk is completely friendly and helpful. I have stayed here multiple times and can totally recommend this property."

"The Cadet Motel was the most affordable motel in the area and was close to fast food restaurants in nearby New Windsor and close to Highland Falls and West Point south on Highway 9W. The room offered two double beds and a satisfactory bathroom."

"We have stayed in many other hotels in the area while visiting West Point. This was a great disappointment. Upon arrival the staff at the front desk did not great us, he did not appear to know how to check in a guest, was not familiar with our reservation. He said it was due to a new management company conversion. The breakfast was sparce and extremely limited, cereal, bagels and hard boiled eggs. There was mold in the one ice machine for the building. "This hotel is quite new and clean, a nicer one among the Residence Inn we stayed. The room is spacious and comfortable. It's located in an office park, so it's quiet. Restaurants are in a short driving distance. Breakfast is nice, with small variation of food each day. Front desk staffs were friendly. If anything desires to be improved, water pressure seems low in sink/wash basin. Overall, it was a nice stay."
