The Vienna State Opera hosts world-class performances in a building almost as dramatic as the productions themselves. Christmas markets transform Rathausplatz into a wonderland of lights and glühwein each winter. Duck into coffeehouses where time seems suspended since Freud's day – lingering is practically mandatory. The Hofburg Imperial Palace complex houses enough museums and treasures to fill several days of exploration. MOOONS
"We enjoyed our stay at Mooons. The rooms were clean and spacious. There was plenty of space for us to put our clothes and we liked the fact you got a hairdryer, iron and ironing board , a safe and a fridge. The bed was big and very comfortable which helped us have a full nights sleep. The air conditioning and soundproofing was great and kept the room cool and quiet while it was hot and busy outside. The round window with the seat proved to be a great way to end a busy day sightseeing. We read our book, had a drink and looked out at the view. A perfect ending to the day. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. We went to the bar on the ground on one of the days we stayed there and the food was tasty and they had plenty of choices of drinks. We sampled the bar on the rooftop and it was worth a visit. The atmosphere was vibrant and the views amazing. Traveling around from the hotel was easy. We just got an all day travel ticket from the station ticket machine which meant you could use trains, trams, buses and the underground. We would highly recommend Mooons."

"This hotel is amazing. The stuff was very nice and helpful. Helped me with my little son with the early check in. Great location, close to all main sightseeings of Vienna. Highly recommend"

"Nostalgic"
The Companion Vienna
"We had a great experience at the hotel. The room was very clean, the staff were very welcoming, knowledgeable about the local area and very helpful. Room facilities were really good. The Nespresso machine is a nice touch. Our only criticism is the restaurant attached to the hotel. The food is lovely, but it is very expensive compared to other local places and the breakfast was expensive for the continental offering provided and didn’t offer value for money in our opinion. For future travellers, I recommend trying the local beerhouses/restaurants for food and there are some lovely cafes a short walk from the hotel that do nice breakfasts for a fraction of the price."
Ibis Wien Hauptbahnhof
"Room is very clean and location is excellent as it is near the Vienna Central train station"
