When I visit Yosemite this is where I stay. This last visit we had a medical emergency with a family member which we needed to call an ambulance. The manager was at our door to assist in any way. He was so kind and thoughtful. He waited for medical personnel to get there and showed them to our room. I'm so thankful for him. Unfortunately with everything going on I did not get his name. Cedar Lodge has everything you may need: small mini market, gift shop and restaurant. Great place :)

Plus; location to Yosemite is the properties redeeming feature and the hot tubs were nice after a hike (albeit questionable cleanliness). The onsite facilities of the shop, bar restaurant Cons; rooms are extremely dated and ours smelled continually of damp and the cost of rooms are very expensive given the amenities you get. Rooms were not serviced and when we rang for extra things like toilet roll they never appeared so we had to go and get them ourselves. The main pool was freezing cold.
