I stay at hotels 190 nights a year. This hotel is definitely a hotel I’m going to remember.
The experience starts with a check-in tea “ceremony”. The staff was out of this world. So professional and polite. After the check-out, a staff member bowed deeply to us as we left. Extremely nice room with all the amenities you can imagine. The guest lounge with free drinks and snacks was a nice bonus you don’t see much these days. The breakfast is worth every penny, with wagyu beef and duck. And eggs made as you please.
To sum up, one of the absolute best hotels I’ve stayed at. The staff make this experience exceptional. I’m blown away.

The room was clean and spacious by Japanese standards. I would also highly recommend the location - we LOVED the street we were on, in that it was near the hustle and bustle but also very quiet and picturesque. My only critiques would be 1) the concierges were not very knowledgeable and we were left to do a lot of our own research; 2) in my opinion, a hotel of this rating/size should have even a modest fitness center.
