My stay at TRYP was wonderful. The staff were all so kind and made sure my stay was comfortable and also recommended great places to dine. The room was spacious and the facilities were all excellent. I have recommended many of my friends to also stay here when they visit next. I will be staying with them again soon.

8/10 Very good

Thryp was in a fantastic location, close to many many places to eat, just around a corner 2 minutes walk from the Courtney Place bus stop for the airport bus and easily walkable to the foreshore, Te Papa museum, TSB Arena, Cuba st etc. The cleaners could have done a better sweep of the room as there was a pair of socks in the cupboard and a bottle cap under the bed but otherwise it was very clean and tidy. I loved the art deco style and the free coffee, tea, juice, lollies and fruit was a hit.

This was a pretty great hotel, even though there wasn’t a true bar. Centrally located in Wellington with easy access to the waterfront. I loved the Art Deco decor and the Bed was very comfortable.

8/10 Very good

Nice middle-tier hotel. It does the job for a night’s stay. The rooms are clean and tidy but are showing signs of wear and tear. For the price and convenient location, I would stay here again.
